Day 1: Urubamba - Huynacapaq Palace – Chichubamba Sayri Tupaq palace Yucay

Pick up from your hotel around 8-9 AM. Visit the local market in Urubamba to enjoy the colorful local products, including vegetables, fruits, flowers, food, drinks, and more. If you want to taste some, you are welcome to do so.

Next, take a walking tour of the Palace of Huynapaq, one of the kings from the Inca civilization, and admire its impressive architecture. After that, explore the farming lands of the local people.

Then, visit the Wachaq wetlands to enjoy the birdlife. You will also see the Yucay farming terraces from the Inca civilization and walk around the ancient water canals. Finally, visit the Palace of Sayri Tupaq, one of the chiefs of the Inca civilization in the Sacred Valley, before returning to your hotel.
